Have you thought about joining Arcadia Rural Fire Brigade?

Arcadia has been serving the community since 1941, after the community rallied together during the 1939 bushfires that ravaged Sydney and the local area. Since then, Arcadia RFB has been supported by members of the neighbourhood to help others during all times.

NSW RFS members aid our communities, local and afar, through many different situations. We attend a variety of incidents from bushfires, floods, to assisting bushwalkers, and other accidents. NSW RFS members also work with the community to prepare for incidents, this includes preparing for bushfires.

Volunteering offers you the opportunity to learn new and valuable skills and experiences, that will not only assist you in your volunteer roles, but even in day-to-day life and your workplace. It is also an opportunity to meet people you wouldn’t normally meet and make some lifelong friendships.
