On October 14th 2017 a team from Arcadia RFB will be climbing 98 floors (1504 stairs) of the Sydney Tower Eye in full structural firefighting gear, which weighs 20kg+. The Arcadian team, and other fire fighters, will be raising money to support the research for Motor Neurone Disease.
Motor Neurone Disease is the collective name for the diseases that target the neurones of the body and impairing their function. There is currently no known cure or effective treatment for MND, which is progressive, terminal neurological disease, and does not discriminate between gender or age. The money raised from this event will go to Macquarie University's MND research facility, which works collaboratively with other research clinics across the world.
Every cent counts!
